A cross-country skiing trail with natural snow has been opened in Maarjavälja, the area between Viljandi road and the Physicum and Chemicum buildings of the University of Tartu. All skiers are welcome to use the trail for free.

From the University of Tartu, 110 students and 205 staff members signed up for the step challenge that took place from 1 to 31 October.

The University of Tartu’s men’s eight team won the gold medal at the European University Rowing Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

All students, staff and alumni of the University of Tartu are invited to respond to a physical activity survey of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club until 20 June.

On September 18 and 19, the summer days of the Institute of Chemistry will take place at Kääriku Sports Centre for the institute's staff. We will introduce our research directions to colleagues through oral and poster presentations and enjoy some pleasant time together.

From 2 October to 5 November, all University of Tartu employees, students, alumni, their families and all others interested are welcome to complete the orienteering course and reconnect with the varied history of Toome Hill.
